I read “Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table” last month and loved it! This month, I enjoyed a new devotional (a companion book) by Louie Giglio called “At the Table with Jesus!”

You can’t help but look at the world today and see all the darkness. I’m so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ – the World’s Light! Jesus invites us to His table – of abundance, peace, and protection – where we can turn our attention from the enemy’s voice and sharpen our ears towards the Good Shephard. There is nothing more helpful in this life than a thriving relationship with Him. This is why I loved this devotional! It explores the eleven foundational truths about who Jesus is, and the response questions at the end of every day are thought-provoking and something to ponder as you spend time in prayer. You can trust Him, He is good, and He alone has our best interest. I highly recommend this daily devotional and believe it will help you live more confidently and with more clarity in who God is, who you are as a disciple, and how you can lean into your strong tower when life seems shaky and unsure.

Wow, this seems like the perfect book for me right now. Last year my husband and I was deep into the devotion. This year I’m struggling. I’ve strayed…but I still have my faith. I know we all go through this, I just keep praying that the Lord will bring me out of this!
