We pray for peace. We beg for it from others. We make speeches about it. But in the end, the only peace most of us can control is that little portion we display for the world to see. If we are at peace, the chaos around us seems to calm down. Our peace affects others. And the Giver of peace awaits to give us the gift that can change our world. It begins with a prayer. It begins with me.
My Thoughts: I thought Peace Begins with Me had a very relaxing cover. It draws you in. I think as a mother, finding peace in the day to day can be a struggle. This is why I really enjoyed this devotional – a great way to start the day!

My Thoughts: “The Earth Is The Lord’s And Everything In It” is a nature-inspired devotional journal. The cover is absolutely stunning! I really loved how the devotional gives you a moment each day to reflect on God’s creation.

When life gets busy, it’s easy to forget to spend time with God. This 365-day devotional journal offers encouraging meditations to help turn our eyes upon Jesus and trust Him with our lives. Each short devotion begins with a line from a beloved song or hymn and is followed by Scripture readings and prayer.
My Thoughts: I loved how the Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus devotional begins with a song. Personally, I love incorporating music into my devotional time. I think having a song to look up, as well as a scripture to meditate on is very encouraging!
