Welcome to day 4 of our Summer Organization Challenge! Today, we’ll be tackling one of the most cluttered areas of the house – the kitchen pantry.

With so many items packed into a small space, it’s easy for the pantry to become disorganized and chaotic. But fear not, with a little bit of effort and some smart organizing tips, we can turn your pantry into a functional and beautiful space.

Step 1: Clear out the clutter

Start by taking everything out of your pantry and laying it out on a nearby table or counter. As you go through each item, check the expiration dates and toss anything that’s past its prime. You’ll be amazed at how many expired items you find lurking in the back of your pantry!

Step 2: Categorize your items

Next, group your items into categories such as canned goods, baking supplies, snacks, and so on. This will make it easier to find what you need later on.

Step 3: Choose your storage solutions

Now it’s time to choose your storage solutions. Consider using clear plastic containers for dry goods like pasta, rice, and cereal. This not only keeps everything organized, but it also makes it easy to see when you’re running low on a particular item.

For cans and jars, invest in a few sturdy wire racks that can be attached to the back of your pantry door or placed on a shelf. This will free up valuable shelf space and make it easy to grab what you need.

We use containers from the dollar tree.

Step 4: Label everything

Finally, label each container or shelf so that everyone in the family knows where everything goes. This will help maintain the organization over time and prevent items from getting misplaced.

With these simple tips, your kitchen pantry will be transformed into a functional and beautiful space in no time. Happy organizing! And don’t forget to enter the $75 Amazon gift card contest – just check out the original post for details.
