My Thoughts

I adore this new picture book by Emily Ley. My girls struggle with being perfect, anxiety, and their many emotions. I love that this book offers a way for parents to build confidence and security in their children by filling them with the message of love, grace, and coming along beside them in finding their way to become who God created them to be. I love that it allows us to remind them that we don’t expect perfection because they’re perfectly loved just the way they are. This book provides an excellent opportunity to show our children how Jesus offers us unconditional love and grace, just like we hope to do. I highly recommend this book and this sweet message. It’s important to remind our children how proud we are of the fun, unique, and exceptional people God created them to be, and Emily has made it easy with this adorable picture book!

  1. Sounds like a good book, letting kids know it’s ok to mess up and that no one is perfect we can make mistakes and learn from them.

  2. This sounds like such a sweet children’s book! I love the message; self-confidence is something that kids should have and always know that everyone makes mistakes and learns from them. Thank you so much for your review.
