God the Father, Jesus the Big Brother, Holy Spirit the Best Friend” is the first book that I have read by this author. This is not a theology book; rather, it’s like having a cup of coffee with a fellow Christian and chatting about her relationship with the Trinity.
I wanted to read this book because I loved the cover. I felt like it did an excellent job showing the many layers of our amazing God as a whole. I think this can be a difficult concept for new Christians to grasp, and this book does an excellent job at emphasizing and knowing God intimately and keeping our eyes focused on him. I love how the reader shares her experience, and this book would be beneficial for new Christians struggling to grasp this experience.
I did enjoy reading this book and agreed with much of the book. I would read this book with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and have your bible handy for further study. I’m still contemplating and reflecting on a few parts of this book (as I do with any Christian book). I recommend this book to new Christians in their faith. I would also suggest finding some Christian friends at a local church to talk theology and dig deep into the word to learn to have a relationship with God. I think it is a personal journey and daily growth for everyone, and it’s a lifetime walk with many discoveries every day!
