This post has not been easy for me to write; it’s taken me a few months, lots of dragging my feet, and much circulation around and around in my head. Satan has been on the attack. Piecing this post together has felt much like labor pains, and it’s felt like the message birthed out of me. It’s a composition of sorts, and hopefully, it will make sense, as I had trouble combining it into one fluid post.

I included some videos in the post, and others I linked to make the post more fluid.

“Faith can give us courage to face the uncertainties of the future.”

During my quiet time with the Lord, He often shows me visions in the Spirit that lead me on a learning process during the week. I’ve added a few visions and dreams in this post that I’ve received the past few months to this post. I believe that they’re a message to the body of Christ and how we should view the coming year.

But first, I think the proper place to start would be why the visions began in the first place. It all started a few years ago after I moved back to my hometown to live with my mom, escaping a toxic situation. The Lord gave me a message in the park. A rock was lying on the ground with the word “JOY.” The Lord spoke to my heart that day through music, “I see you, and this is what you are seeking. “You’re Special,” and you will find your hearts desire.” A few days later, I received a friend request on Facebook from someone in a group that I was a member of. We started talking, and the Lord told me, “This is your future husband.” After a while, He told me to stop talking to Him. Confused, I followed because I’m at the point in my life where if I hear the word STOP, I listen.

I was furious because I thought I was hearing one thing, and then I realized I was not. I’m pretty honest when I pray, much like David. I told Him, “Well, I’m a single mom, living in my mom’s house in a town I hate with no friends. I have no one, not a companion to spend time with, and family can’t fill that void or give me what I need. I tried going to church, but my past follows me everywhere I go, and I feel like I’m always going to be seen as an injured bird. I know, Lord that you’re all that I’m supposed to want and need, that you are what needs to feel that void … but I’m having trouble overcoming my heart’s loneliness. It’s not enough, and surely this isn’t all that life is. You will have to be my overcomer and turn this desire to where it is supposed to be. If you’re all I need, then I need you to change my heart. You’re my provider, my best friend, my companion…my husband. You say that you see me; and that you are healing the trauma from my heart like an onion, layer by layer. Well, this is taking forever! Let’s speed this up!”

I asked Him, “Why did I mishear you? It seems like everyone in the church is divided right now on so many issues. We all think we hear you, but everyone is doing and saying different things. How do I know that I’m listening to the right voice? It’s evident after this, and observing the division amongst everyone that this is something I need to work on. If your heart’s desire is for us to be one and in unity (so the world can see you), that’s my desire as well. My eyes, heart, and ears are causing me to sin and perceive things wrong, so please take them out and replace them with your own.

Let there be real harmony so that there won’t be splits in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

1 Corinthians 1:10

He then asked me to stop entering giveaways, stop blogging, stop watching television, stop everything and dig in Him… DO THE WORK. He said we were going to learn about “PERCEPTION“.

That’s when I started getting visions, and my relationship with Him went to a whole other level.

Listen to the song, “WHEN GOD TALKS BACK” below:

If FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE are all that remains, then that’s what I want. That is the lens I want to look through in the year 2022! I think that is what the Lord is doing for the body of Christ this year, teaching us how to see through the lens of the gospel and tune into that vibration (tuning fork) so we can perceive His heart in all matters. He is bringing the wayward sons home, and healing our hearts. I think that these wayward sons are heartbroken, much have dealt with trauma, and they will offer the world so much creativity and perspective that the devil will not be able to control the tides that will be bringing back the lost. Waves upon waves of people will learn to surf the waves that the Lord is creating for people to ride (his love is deep and wide). Rivers will start to merge into one another, and the fields will be ripe for the Harvest. Bigger than we’ve ever seen before. Are we ready?

All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.

My “Vision” of Revelations

My vision starts in a field of horses, and Jesus asked me to get onto a horse because He wanted to show me something. Jesus was riding the horse very fast, and I could barely keep up, I was clinging onto the horse tightly. I remember being frustrated because I couldn’t see myself riding the horse, and I couldn’t see what was around me. I just knew that we were traveling very fast. We arrived at a spring of water – and it was very calming, relaxing and clear; it was gently moving. I could see round stones of many colors through the water. The horses stopped and were drinking and refreshing themselves.

The Lord then offered me a gift. It was a precious white stone, but was also a hair comb that He placed in my hair. It was translucent like dark glass. I also got the impression that it was likened to a shell and symbolized a covering/veil/crown. I also felt like they were doves. There was a word inscribed on it that started with a C, but I couldn’t quite make out what it said.

He said to me that we were in the future. I couldn’t see clearly, but He asked me what I felt. It felt like it was a war, and I felt a heaviness, sadness with many tears. He told me there was also a war going on in Heaven too.

He then took me to a place where He enjoys singing over His people; it was on top of a mountain. There was a crowd of people on top of the hill (more than you could count) praising the Lord, and there was so much joy. I recognized a few people from my family there, and they greeted me. There were also children giggling and playing around us – as if they were playing a game of tag.

Jesus then put sevenl sparkly stars in my eyes.

He handed me a flute. He said that people were there to worship (through singing, orchestra, art, and dance), and He sang to them at this place.

I then reached out my hand and was counting (in the air towards the left corner) what seemed to be pillars or columns (curtain on fire), but I’m not sure because everything became blurred again. 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 … 11. The Lord told me that I counted eleven brides and it was then that I sensed that I was at the wedding supper of the Lamb and I was in a tabernacle of sorts.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is img_0804-1024x768.jpg

Everything the became blurry, dark, and I couldn’t see clearly. I was very anxious, and I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t hear or see anymore – it was all very confusing. Jesus told me it was because I had tornadoes around my head, and that they were making things unclear.

I looked down, and I had a sword in my hands. The Lord asked me to drop it and said that it wasn’t mine to carry. He then handed me a different sword, HIS.

* Piecing My Vision All Together *

What does the number eleven mean?

I was really stuck on why the Lord told me I was counting eleven brides. I really didn’t understand what that meant, until the Lord lead me to this post down below.

My take away is that the number eleven is important because it can symbolize two different things. First it is a number of disorder, chaos and judgment. It’s also the number of revelation that will help us transition into something new. The Lord has been telling me over and over He is doing something “new,” and I believe it’s taking people into a deeper revelation about who He is and our calling to love the world during this time.

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?”

Angels, Demons & Other “Spiritual Beings”

The video below is a study (seven episodes) from the Bible Project in which they talk about the different spiritual creatures and how they fit in the storyline of the Bible. I loved how they explained the mountain I saw in my vision, and how Heaven and earth are reunited. It also describes the tornadoes that I felt around my head. You can find the whole series here, but I’m just including the sixth and seventh video down below.

The Father’s Home, and the Way There

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16
Watch The Chosen on their free app:

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Philippians 2:12

As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.

We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

Hebrews 12:1-2

Now we see through glass darkly, or a poor reflection through a mirror. Then we will see face to face.

In the present world, we see imperfectly, as through mica or ancient glass. In eternity, in Heaven, we shall see clearly, face to face.

Love never ends. There are gifts of prophecy, but they will be ended. There are gifts of speaking in different languages, but those gifts will end. There is the gift of knowledge, but it will be ended.  These things will end, because this knowledge and these prophecies we have are not complete.  But when perfection comes, the things that are not complete will end.  When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child; I made plans like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those childish ways.  It is the same with us. Now we see as if we are looking into a dark mirror. But at that time, in the future, we shall see clearly. Now I know only a part. But at that time I will know fully, as God has known me.  So these three things continue forever: faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love.

The Day of the Lord

Does God care about all of the evil humans perpetrate in our world, and if so, what is He doing about it? In this video on the Day of the Lord, Bible Project traces the different ways that God confronts human evil and the even deeper spiritual evil that underlies it. Ultimately, we see how Jesus fulfills this storyline and overcomes evil by allowing it to defeat him.

With that kind of hope to excite us, nothing holds us back. Unlike Moses, we have nothing to hide. Everything is out in the open with us. He wore a veil so the children of Israel wouldn’t notice that the glory was fading away—and they didn’t notice. They didn’t notice it then and they don’t notice it now, don’t notice that there’s nothing left behind that veil. Even today when the proclamations of that old, bankrupt government are read out, they can’t see through it. Only Christ can get rid of the veil so they can see for themselves that there’s nothing there.

View the World Through the Right Lens

“I am the light of the world. The person who follows me will never live in darkness. He will have the light that gives life.”

John 8:12

Everything you can discern has a threshold, the lowest level above which you can and below which you can’t. The absolute threshold refers to the smallest level of light, tone, smell, touch that a person can detect.

Scientists divide light into visible and non-visible, and this is called the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum. Of the total spectrum, only 0.00035 percent is visible to the human eye, visible light.

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

Don’t attack them head-on. Instead, circle around behind them and ambush them from the grove of sacred trees. When you hear the sound of shuffling in the trees, get ready to move out. It’s a signal that God is going ahead of you to smash the Philistine camp.

2 Samuel 5:24

We’re All in the Same Sinking Boat

This world can often seem dark and bleak. It doesn’t seem like things will get better, and we are all waiting for the final countdown. Because of my vision, I sensed like the Rapture of the Church would be very soon. I asked him how soon, and his answer was “right at the threshold“.

The Lukewarm Church

Here’s what I want you to do: Buy your gold from me, gold that’s been through the refiner’s fire. Then you’ll be rich. Buy your clothes from me, clothes designed in Heaven. You’ve gone around half-naked long enough. And buy medicine for your eyes from me so you can see, really see.

2 Peter 3:9

Romans 3:9-20 MSG

9-20 So where does that put us? Do we Jews get a better break than the others? Not really. Basically, all of us, whether insiders or outsiders, start out in identical conditions, which is to say that we all start out as sinners. Scripture leaves no doubt about it:

There’s nobody living right, not even one,
nobody who knows the score, nobody alert for God.
They’ve all taken the wrong turn;
they’ve all wandered down blind alleys.
No one’s living right;
    I can’t find a single one.
Their throats are gaping graves,
    their tongues slick as mudslides.
Every word they speak is tinged with poison.
They open their mouths and pollute the air.
They race for the honor of sinner-of-the-year,
litter the land with heartbreak and ruin,
Don’t know the first thing about living with others.
They never give God the time of day.

This makes it clear, doesn’t it, that whatever is written in these Scriptures is not what God says about others but to us to whom these Scriptures were addressed in the first place! And it’s clear enough, isn’t it, that we’re sinners, every one of us, in the same sinking boat with everybody else? Our involvement with God’s revelation doesn’t put us right with God. What it does is force us to face our complicity in everyone else’s sin.

Parable of the Children in the Marketplace

Will you love and trust God even when he doesn’t fit into the mold you’ve created for Him? Will you follow Him anyway?

And the Lord said, “To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like?  They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying:

We played the flute for you,
And you did not dance
We mourned to you,
And you did not weep.’

For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber [excessive drinker], a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’  But wisdom is justified by all her children.”

1 Corinthians Overview

Below is a video from the Bible Project on the book of 1 Corinthians, which breaks down the book’s literary design and its flow of thought. It challenges believers to see and examine every aspect of our lives through the lens of the Gospel.  Jesus life, death, and resurrection are what unify a diverse body of believers and allow us to live in a completely new way fused with the hope of God’s Kingdom. Specifically, Paul addresses divisions among believers.

2 Corinthians Overview

A New Way of Life

Paul’s message to the Corinthians encourages them to live in a new way, embracing the cruciform life of Jesus. Through the cross and resurrection, Jesus’ followers can live differently and model generosity, humility, and weakness. It’s a letter about living in a counter-cultural way as we seek to live as Jesus did.

For we live by believing and not by seeing [the Holy Spirit transforms us to live by faith not by sight]

When we fail to see our faith and our lives through the lens of Jesus’ atoning work on the cross, our faith devolves into a “me-powered,” works-driven legalism, no different than the Pharisees’ desire to be righteous through their actions. A Christians, everything we are should be impacted by Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.  Our very identities come from the Gospel message.

When we see ourselves through Jesus’ lens of beauty, love, and forgiveness, we begin to see ourselves the way He sees us.  And when we see ourselves the way Jesus sees us, we feel differently about ourselves. We feel hopeful . . . joyful . . . alive.

I mean that you have been saved by grace because you believe. You did not save yourselves. It was a gift from God. You cannot brag that you are saved by the work you have done. God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would do good works. God had planned in advance those good works for us. He had planned for us to live our lives doing them.

The Sword of Truth, Speaking Truth Into The Darkness

Reading and memorizing scripture has helped Ellie Holcomb combat the idea that she had to be perfect for God to love her. And how it’s helped her know—it’s okay to struggle. You can listen to her story by clicking the play button down below.

Her story reminded me of something I wrote in 2015, “Just Breathe“. Ellie says, “As I’ve stood up in the truth of some of the brokenness of my story, I’ve seen the power of the gospel, the truth of the gospel, that He meets us in our most broken places and becomes even more powerful.”

We are known, and we are made for a purpose. God desires salvation for every person.

The Valley of Dry Bones

We have the ability to prophesy “LIFE” to a dying world because we live in resurrection power; through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”

I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing

I Want to See Jesus

The Story of Zacchaeus can be found in Luke 19:1-19

Zacchaeus is seeking to see (action) Jesus, and Jesus sees Him first. The crowd sees a man with hospitality to a sinner, but the crowd doesn’t see with the proper lens (grumbled). Jesus sees Zacchaeus as a man with hospitality and generosity. The crowd sees Jesus and Zacchaeus incorrectly. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, providing salvation.

I’m not a professional prophet, and I was never trained to be one.[Or I’m not a prophet nor the son of a prophet] I’m just a shepherd, and I take care of sycamore-fig trees. But the Lord called me away from my flock and told me, ‘Go and prophesy to my people in Israel

I Don’t Want To Miss It – Ellie Holcomb

The Eye of a Needle at the Threshold of the Judgment Gate

The Gospels describe Golgotha (place of the Skull) as a garden just outside the walls of Jerusalem. That clearly means that the procession leading Jesus to death must have left the city through one of the city gates – the Judgment Gate.

The “place of the skull” has an interesting history. This location of Jesus’ crucifixion is called both Calvary and Golgotha. The Greek word κρανίον (kran-ee-on), translated as Calvary, means skull-that part of the skeletal frame known as the cranium. The word Golgotha is a Hebrew word that also means skull-better known as the “place of the skull.” Why does this matter?

In Genesis 3:15 we have the first prophecy of the coming of the Lord Jesus to be the Savior of mankind: And I will put hostility between you [Satan] and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall crush your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” The crushing of Satan’s head is our first clue as to why Jesus was crucified on Calvary, the place of the skull. Moses prophetically writes that there will come a time when the future seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent.

As we move from Genesis further into the Bible, we receive another installment of information that sheds light on the fulfillment of this prophecy. In 1 Samuel 17, we read about David’s battle with Goliath of Gath. After David slays the giant, he cuts his head off and brings it to Jerusalem. Victors would often decapitate their opponent and then set them on a hill or a site that would display victory for all to see.

The fact that David brought Goliath’s head to Jerusalem is quite astonishing since Jerusalem at this time was inhabited by David’s enemies, the Jebusites. The question is, where did David bring the head of Goliath? The Scripture doesn’t tell us but I don’t think I would be going too far out on a limb to suggest that the giant’s skull was buried on calvary.

The significance of Jesus being crucified on Calvary, the place of the skull, was to show His victory over His enemy, Satan, thus fulfilling the prophecy of Genesis 3:15. Nails were driven through his heels; thus, fulfilling part of the prophecy. The remainder of the prophecy was fulfilled as he was lifted above the ground -the place of the skull – crushing the head of Satan.  Jesus was literally in a position over His enemies, over the giants of evil.

The eye is the lamp of the body. The way you perceive the world (the lens). Where do you think LIFE is found?

Don’t store treasures for yourselves here on earth. Moths and rust will destroy treasures here on earth. And thieves can break into your house and steal the things you have. So store your treasure in heaven. The treasures in heaven cannot be destroyed by moths or rust. And thieves cannot break in and steal that treasure.  Your heart will be where your treasure is.

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.  But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

No one can be a slave to two masters. He will hate one master and love the other. Or he will follow one master and refuse to follow the other. So you cannot serve God and money at the same time.

Matthew 6:19-24

“But God said to that man, ‘Foolish man! Tonight you will die. So who will get those things you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be for anyone who stores things up only for himself and is not rich toward God.”

Luke 12:20
Wave of Creativity

I recently was taken to the throne room of Heaven in a vision. It was bright and glorious, powerful, immense, and reached up into the Heavens. As I looked in awe around the throne room, I was excitedly met by family who wanted to introduce me to the waves coming from the throne room. They flow and move with ease, much like the wind, swirling and moving around Heaven. I got a sense that these were waves of caring and compassion that came from the love and heart of the Father. When you looked closely at the water there were tiny speckles of diamonds that radiated glory and light. There were also fish in the water that would swim and talk to you. I saw that people in Heaven like to ride the waves in Heaven. The Lord told me that the waves were coming to earth and we are to ride the waves. He has designed waves for each of us.

Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

Ephesians 2:10

I also recently woke up from a dream of Fall leaves raining down. As I awoke, the Lord asked me, “What happens soon after a tree sheds all of its leaves.” I responded, “New growth appears, and new leaves.” He told me, “This is what I’m about to do upon the earth. New growth (The Budding of Aaron’s Staff – From Wasteland to Winter Wonderland), and new wine skins (Story of Gideon).”

Thanks to the Holy Spirit, I then put these two revelations together and realized that the leaves were from Revelation 22.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Revelation 22:1-7

A Warrior is Built from a Winepress

The winepress is all about the crushing. I recently had a vision I was flying under the wings of an eagle soaring in the sky, darkness from below grabbing and pulling at me, trying to take me down. I was fearful, but the eagle continued to fly above it all gracefully with me under his wings. I was wearing a bridal gown with combat boots on. I believe that the Lord was telling me that when we fly gracefully under his wings he will crush the snakes under foot – while we are riding the waves where he leads.

The Lord showed me that if you take the word FIGHT and drop in an L (LORD) it changes the word to FLIGHT.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;

don’t try to figure out everything on your own.

Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;

he’s the one who will keep you on track.

Don’t assume that you know it all.

Run to God! Run from evil!

Your body will glow with health,

your very bones will vibrate with life!

Honor God with everything you own;

give him the first and the best.

Your barns will burst,

your wine vats will brim over.

But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline;

don’t sulk under his loving correction.

It’s the child he loves that God corrects;

a father’s delight is behind all this.

Proverbs 3:10-12

I recently had a dream of a tiny bird eating grain from the window ledge. It went into a tiny dark cave in the corner and out came a giant rat with the birds head in it’s mouth. It dropped the bird onto the window and the bird took it’s last breath. The rat went back into the cave. I believe that the Lord was telling me to not fight battles that are not mine, and to stay on the path he has for me. He will provide for me everything that I need. If I go searching for other provisions that he hasn’t placed before me, I will surely die.

The Lord went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and he provided light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night.

EXODUS 13:21

I also recently woke up from a dream in which my skin was translucent and was layered. (Much like how you’d see a computer program break down layers). The skin had golden words of light transcribed upon each layer. I believe that the Lord was telling me to fill my mind with his word, and that I would be transformed layer by layer (by heart).

Dear friend, listen well to my words;

tune your ears to my voice.

Keep my message in plain view at all times.

    Concentrate! Learn it by heart!

Those who discover these words live, really live;

body and soul, they’re bursting with health.

Proverbs 4:21-22

Wherever you’ve been depressed or oppressed, step into the winepress with the Lord. You will be crushed and deal with, and rebirth will happen with the intimacy with the redeemer.

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.”

Revelation 22:12–14

For because of the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God

Hebrews 12:2

One day, Jesus will return like the sower did and reap the reward for His labor — He will gather us to Himself, much like a bridegroom comes to take his bride.

There will be sounds of joy and gladness. There will be the happy sounds of brides and bridegrooms. There will be the sounds of people bringing their offerings to the Temple of the Lord. Their offerings will be to show thanks to the Lord. They will say,

Praise the Lord of heaven’s armies!
    The Lord is good!
    His love continues forever

They will say this because I will again do good things for Judah. It will be as in the beginning,” says the Lord.

Jeremiah 33:11

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”

Revelation 19:7

The Lord is marking his bride with a wedding canopy

I also recently had a vision after I woke of a large sheet, canopy, a gown falling from Heaven. It was white but translucent, spotless without wrinkle, and contained tiny diamonds that glistened.

Then Yahweh will create over all of Mount Zion and over every gathering a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night.  And all this manifestation of dazzling glory will spread over them like a wedding canopy.  It will be a tabernacle as a shade from the scorching heat of the day and a safe shelter to protect them from the storm and rain.

ISAIAH 4:5-6

The Dead Church

These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars:

I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain (faith hope and love – the greatest of these is love, 1 Corinthians 13:13), that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.  Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; butI will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Revelation 3:2-6

Who is this coming out of the

Like pillars of smoke,

Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense,

With all the merchant’s fragrant

Behold, it is Solomon’s couch,

With sixty valiant men around it,

Of te valiant of Israel.

They all hold swords,

Being expert in war.

Every man has his sword on his thigh

Because of fear in the night.

God Desires a Heart of Living Worship

When we position our hearts in allegiance with God’s and seek those things that are above we are living a life in obedience and living a life of true worship. When we give our hearts over to Christ (wholeheartedly), then our allegiance and devotion will be to Him alone. As we delight in the law of the Lord (love with all our heart and mind), and worship Him in spirit (Fire) and truth (Word), he begins to transform our hearts and renew our minds.

“O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’”

Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 12:1-3

Praise works like a magnifying glass. It causes what you’re focusing on to get bigger, to be ‘magnified.’ David said, ‘Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.’ (Psalm 34:3–4 ). God has promised you ‘the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.’

Magnify – We are Messengers

They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear,1 and lay them on people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger.

Matthew 23:4

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28–30

For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:20

Let the Weight of Your Glory Fall | For Your Name is Holy | Lyric Video | Paul Wilbur

After much study of the tabernacle, I believe the hill that I was on in my vision was the tabernacle and that the pillar on fire was the curtain of goat’s hair that covers the holy of holies.

How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes behind your veil are doves. Your hair is like a flock of goats descending from the hills of Gilead.

Song of Solomon 4:1

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Romans 12:1

In the Song of Solomon in the Bible, it talks about your eyes being like doves. It’s talking about how the doves can see only what’s right in front of them. They don’t get distracted because of their lack of peripheral vision.

I look up to the mountains;
does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

 He won’t let you stumble,
your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel’s
Guardian will never doze or sleep.

God’s your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you—
Shielding you from sunstroke,
    sheltering you from moonstroke.

God guards you from every evil,
    he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always.

psalm 121

Hidden Manna, a White Stone, and a New Name

The scallop shell (in my vision) is known as a symbol of pilgrimage. In the past, it symbolized the Christian’s journey towards heaven, as we “are pilgrims and strangers on the earth” (Hebrews 11:13). Priests often used a scallop shell to pour water on a child during baptism, initiating a pilgrimage towards heaven.  You can often find the symbol of a scallop shell with 3 drops of water, representing the trinity.

There is an ancient Roman custom of awarding white stones to the victors of athletic games. The winner of a contest was awarded white stones to the victors of authentic games. The winner was awarded a white stone with his name inscribed on it. The stone served as his “ticket” to a special awards banquet. According to this view, Jesus promises the overcomer entrance to the eternal victory celebration in Heaven. The new name refers to the Holy Spirit’s work of conforming believers to the holiness of Christ.

In my vision, the stone that I received said “Christ,” but it also said, “Continence,” which was my first fruit. It also said, “Yowna.”
Yowna means dove. The Lord said it also means “widow’s heart”. In my alabaster box was the gift of singleness and an undivided heart.

Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do.

The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit

PSALM 34:18

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

John 15:16

I know your deeds, your labor, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles. Without growing weary, you have persevered and endured many things for the sake of My name.

But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love. Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen. Repent and perform the deeds you did at first. But if you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God.

Revelation 2:2-7

Cece Winans – Alabaster Box

New Name Written Down In Glory / Jesus Is Mine

I posted this picture of myself on Facebook a few years ago with an NF filter after going to a new church for vacation Bible school for the kids. It was a terrible experience because I felt judged because of my past. It was probably more Satan’s attacks than anything. But I’m sharing what happened for the sake of this post. I was immediately asked where my husband was? When I said I didn’t have one, I was then asked why I had moved back home? They knew my grandpa was a paster, and they knew my mom. They asked a lot of personal questions, and were trying to dig up my past and my family in which I wasn’t comfortable talking about to complete strangers. I don’t know why they were asking such personal questions with it being a casual encounter, but I definitely felt interrogated and judged. But the most straightforward question that poured me over the edge of sanity was when one of the ladies asked me how I studied my Bible. I politely told her that I talk with the Lord about what he wants me to learn or heal from daily, and we go from there. She frowned and said, you don’t read devotionals? I said that I sometimes do, but that is not enough for me, so I usually like to study my Bible with the Lord’s guidance. She just looked at me strangely, like I was doing it wrong, frowned, and walked away without finishing the conversation or saying bye. After the interrogation, I ended up having a panic attack and grabbed my kids, running out of the church thinking that maybe I was doing this “Christian Thing” wrong.

After I posted this picture on Facebook, I got a lot of backlash from a loved one. NF had just come out with a new CD, so he had this Snapchat filter promoting the latest release. They assumed I was doing it for attention, but I politely said no; they just didn’t understand me. They replied, ” Well, we are trying to understand you, but we wouldn’t have made the same decisions you did in life. They asked me to explain the music to them, but I wasn’t sure how to do that, so I let the conversation end there. I was feeling attacked by Satan at this point; I’ve never been mad at anyone who makes me feel this way. I’m sure a lot of it is my perception of the situations and the devil attacking the cracks in my armor. But the Lord told me years ago to “never be ashamed to show the cracks in your armor, for that is where the light shines through.”

I started listening to NF after I left a toxic, abusive relationship with my kid’s dad. The Lord sent me this music after I had a breakdown when he ended up going to prison. I was put in a mental health facility for a weekend to get on medication because I was considered “suicidal” for mentioning to a friend that I would be okay if the Lord took me while I slept and I had a hard time just getting out of bed.

Anyways, I hated the medicine because I didn’t like the way it made me feel, so the Lord led me to this music after I prayed for Him to heal me from the trauma. He said that it would take time, like layers of an onion.

If you’ve not heard of Nathan John Feuersteinknown professionally as NF, I highly recommend that you take a moment to listen. He is a Christian, a hip-hop artist, not a “Christian rapper.” His music resonates with everyone who’s looking for HOPE. He uses his music to open up about the pain in his life, from his parents’ divorce to the day his mother died from an overdose. He also uses stories of abuse, self-harm, and mental illness to influence his lyrics. With his music being so heavy and dark, many Christian critics (including parents) worry that he emphasizes darkness over redemption.

I’ve been a fan of NF for a while now, and his music has always hit home with me. I can relate to the pain and anger in his music. It’s a breath of fresh air to me. I’m afraid I have to disagree with the critics, and I think he’s speaking to people’s hearts right where they are, right when they need to hear it. He talks about things that people are struggling with, which few people talk about. #realmusic

One of my favorite songs from NF is “Mansion” because I can relate to every word. I, too, have built up walls in my mind to keep people out because of the pain that I’ve been through. I have trust issues – and for good reasons. I can relate to the feelings of loneliness and being trapped by FEAR. The fear makes it hard to deal with and heal from the pain of my past. I keep people at a distance because when I’ve opened up in the past, people have looked down and judged me – even people closest to me. I, too, have written down my thoughts to help me work through my pain (as therapy and a testimony to others), only to be later told not to share it anymore. My grandfather is a pastor, so people seem to look at me even more for my bad choices. One of the most painful things someone I love told me when they were trying to understand me was, “well, I wouldn’t have made the same choices.” My past makes me feel dirty, disgraced, and full of regret, which keeps me in a circle of self-hatred and shame. This is why I feel hopeless in freeing myself from the past – I cannot heal from it. I’m unable to talk about it — and therapy has not helped me because they confirm my feelings and say that everything I’m feeling is a normal reaction to the trauma I’ve been through. And worse yet, they say I will suffer from depression, anxiety, and PTSD for the rest of my life. I’ve tried being on medicine and hated how they made me feel “high” all the time. AND I’ve had Christians tell me I’m not a Christian because I wouldn’t have these problems if I were indeed one.

If you were to ask me what I think the Lord is doing right now in the world, I would say that he is bringing home the wayward sons, the lost sheep, and healing hearts. I keep getting the impression from the Lord that he wants to reach those who’ve been through trauma. Guilt is hard for those getting over trauma to navigate, and I think he is addressing this right now. Sometimes guilt can be from sin, and other times it’s from abusive situations in which they were constantly told they were unlovable and that something is wrong with them or they can’t do anything right. Sometimes the Lord is working on us layer by layer to surrender those things to Jesus Christ. It doesn’t always happen overnight. It’s essential to focus on thanksgiving and grace when working with those that suffer from trauma. If not, you may send them into a spiral, and it’ll backtrack their progress, and they’ll have to rework things that they’ve worked through already with the Lord.

“Trauma” – NF

The Lord recently reminded me about a visit with the angel ARIEL

When I was going through a rough time in my previous marriage, and he was living with another woman, I had turned to psychics and tarot cards for answers. I overcame demon attacks in my thoughts because of that and the stress. I was suicidal, and I spent a few weeks not sleeping or eating because my mind wouldn’t let me. Much like the song mansion, I was separating demons into separate rooms in my mind trying to clear my thoughts. Jesus was there as well. I tried reading my bible, but it seemed like it was in another language, and I couldn’t understand it. I felt like I was in a battle for my mind. One night an angel visited me when I was lying in bed. I didn’t see an angel, but I remember hearing, “you are not alone, I am the angel Ariel, and I’m here to help you.” I remember smelling roses (rose of Sharon, lily in the valley) and checking the house for flowers afterward.

After this encounter, I told a loved one, and they said, “It was all in my head.” I think that this was much of the reason I struggle with, if I’m correct, or even hearing the Lord’s voice at all to this day. I definitely know I struggle with discernment and perception (due to a broken lens), but I know that it’s something that the Lord is continually refining in my life day by day. I don’t struggle alone, and he walks with me and leads me along the way.

“Out The Way” – Paul the Messenger

The right order to Judge Others and the Condition of our Hearts, To Not Be a Stumbling Block for Others

Watch a video on Isaiah 29 (I couldn’t add it to the post)  and read the Bible verse here, which explains the judgment on Ariel (which means The Lion of God or Jerusalem) when they added ritualistic judgments to the Word of God, and were hypocrites because they were worried about duties over devotion, and external situations rather than the condition of the eternal condition of the heart.

Hypocrisy plagues us all. All of us are inconsistent from time to time with the way we live or talk or evaluate others in relation to ourselves. One of the worst types of hypocrisy is how we relate to God. This was the problem with the Jewish people in Isaiah’s day. He accuses them of honoring God with their lips (giving God lip service), but not their hearts. Did you know that according to a recent survey by the Barna Group that “hypocrisy” is the number one reason Millennials (those in their 20’s and early 30’s) give for why they don’t want to attend church? Hypocrisy is sin. It not only causes God to be dishonored, but it causes unbelievers to be disillusioned.”

I really think that this is what’s going on right now in our World. Revelation 2-3, Judgment Begins with the House of God. I sense that. the Lord wants the Church to point to the cornerstone, Jesus our unchanging foundation, our faith, our HOPE. And learn and pray to not get in the Lord’s way, and avoid being stumbling blocks for others … but living stones full of empathy and encouragement!

The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

Therapy Session

Revelation comes from the question “WHY”.

David’s Key

But I come swiftlyso cling tightly to what you have (to Jesus), so that no one may seize your crown of victory. For the one who is victorious, I will make you to be a pillar (pillar of fire) in the sanctuary of my God, permanently secure.  I will write on you the name of my God and the name of the city of my God—the New Jerusalem, descending from my God out of heaven. And I’ll write my own name on you

I will place upon his shoulders the key to the treasures of David’s palace. He will open doors that no one can shut, and he will shut doors that no one can open

ISAIAH 22:22

LIVING STONE PLANT (They are like the rocks in the stream that were in my vision)

These small, split succulents are native to the deserts of South Africa. Lithops thrive in compacted, sandy soil with little water and blistering hot temperatures. As soon as you notice lithops plant splitting, you should refrain from watering it. This is because the new plant must absorb all of the moisture from the old plant’s leaves in order to develop properly.

“It’s not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow. Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving.”

1 Corinthians 3

“I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn’t bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more. You are already pruned back by the message I have spoken.” John 15:2

John 15:2

The Lord told me that healing from my trauma would be like peeling an onion a long time ago. The peeling of the soul is done layer by layer and is turning oneself over to the care of Jesus Christ. Little by little. He is the one who will strip away dead layers and will uncover pain and hurt to uncover deeper levels of grace that we need to make us new. When you’ve been through trauma or painful experiences, it can leave memories that scar us, blind us, distort our perception, and can cause repeated choices in our life that we’ve learned to cope with. We end up doing “the evil I do not want.” (Rom 7: 19) We relate to others in sinful patterns that we’ve learned or ways we use to protect ourselves. The Lord has to work with us to shed the shell that covers our hearts so we can grow. By God’s love and forgiveness, we can peel back those layers and heal. The healing process is like peeling an onion, and you will cry. To heal, we sometimes need to fall apart to be put back together.

I’m just a wildflower picked from the plains of Sharon (Rose of Sharon, Lily of the Valley in the desert),
a lotus blossom from the valley pools.

Song of Solomon 2

A Study of Hebrew Words

You’ve often disconnected from reality to save your true identity from enduring the abuse when you’ve been through trauma. You’ve been through trauma every year, a new layer of repression, inner tension, and toxic beliefs is created. Our brains are wired to protect us by doing this, but it also can manifest as adults into unhealthy relationships, addiction, codependency, destructive behavior batters, illness, and chronic pain. This can lead to endless cycles and patterns and generational curses.

To understand what trauma feels like, watch the song below called “Story” down below. This is what it feels like to live with trauma over and over. The feelings you will have while watching this is what it feels like all the time for those who have lived it. This is why we suffer from PTSD afterward, and we can’t always turn that feeling off. This is why it’s so important to remember this when you bring up someone’s past or you want to talk about it. It can be an unwanted trigger to relive things we’d rather forget (or work out the healing with the Lord).

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 38 If a person believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from his heart.

John 7:37

You heard the true teaching—the Good News about your salvation. When you heard it, you believed in Christ. And in Christ, God put his special mark on you by giving you the Holy Spirit that he had promised. 14 That Holy Spirit is the guarantee that we will get what God promised for his people. This will bring full freedom to the people who belong to God, to bring praise to God’s glory.

Ephesians 1:13–14

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

“The Heavenly Vision”, also known as “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” (the first line of its chorus), is a hymn written by Helen Howarth Lemmel. It was inspired by a tract entitled Focused, written by the missionary Isabella Lilias Trotter.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 12:2

To you, I lift up my eyes, are you who are in throne in the heavens

PSALM 123:1
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Amazing Grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost
But now I am found
Was blind but now I see

Suffering is Not For Nothing | Elisabeth Elliot

This year take the time to be a stack of living stones and remind others of the ROCK!

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:2

Joshua had the people of Israel stack stones to remind generations of when they crossed into the Promised Land. Jesus is the chief cornerstone that can’t be destroyed.

The people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month. They set up camp at The Gilgal (The Circle) to the east of Jericho. Joshua erected a monument at The Gilgal, using the twelve stones that they had taken from the Jordan. And then he told the People of Israel, “In the days to come, when your children ask their fathers, ‘What are these stones doing here?’ tell your children this: ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry ground.’

“Yes, God, your God, dried up the Jordan’s waters for you until you had crossed, just as God, your God, did at the Red Sea, which had dried up before us until we had crossed. This was so that everybody on earth would recognize how strong God’s rescuing hand is and so that you would hold God in solemn reverence always.”

Joshua 4:21-24

When Living Stones Speak

As you move forward this year, know that you too have a “Stack of Stones” that creates an opportunity for you, an opportunity to be all that you were born to be. God is your foundation, your cornerstone .. and because of this, you can be strong and courageous this year! This courage allows us to have the faith to move mountains and bring dead bones to life

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  –Joshua 1:9

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” -Matthew 17:20

The Stone is not only a reminder of the Rock God is for you… But for the need to be Stacked and to help Stack other Stones… Our Rock is never just for US…

We were made to create to reflect God, to reveal God, and to make a good and more beautiful world!

We have peace because of Jesus. There is hope because of his plan for our lives. That even through the chaos and madness, he is writing a symphony through it all.
