This disease has become a plague in our anxiety-filled and often overweight society. Thankfully, God created the human body, and He has a unique and loving plan for your health. My Thoughts
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” – Proverbs 13:12
This was a thought-provoking book, and it gave me quite a bit to chew on. I loved that it provides both Biblical understanding to our battles and ways to apply them to our lives. Although this book is not a cure-all, I enjoyed the insight into possible causes and how they relate to our thoughts. It definitely gave me the opportunity to reflect on my thoughts, and take some things to the Lord in prayer.
I received a copy of this book through the Celebrate Lit Blogging Program, all thoughts are my own.
About the Author

Dr. Henry W. Wright (1944–2019) was the president and founder of Be in Health Global. He was exposed to the power of God’s healing at an early age when his mother was miraculously cured of terminal cancer and a fatal tumor that was wrapped around her jugular vein. Wright was committed to the belief that human problems are fundamentally spiritual, with associated physical and psychological manifestations. With his insights into the medical as well as the spiritual aspects of disease, he brought a fresh perspective to the process of ministering to the sick. He presented conferences worldwide and across broad denominational lines for over twenty-five years and was a frequent guest on many well-known television and radio programs. Be in Health continues to carry on Dr. Wright’s vision and ministry, hosting the world-renowned For My Life Retreats in Thomaston, Georgia.

I put the wrong blog name for the comment entry. Sorry about that. I am commenting here. This looks like a super useful book for understanding the links between spirituality and illnesses. I definitely would love to read this book.
Our thoughts are indeed powerful and mind is the best instrument that we have to keep the diseases at bay. There have been lots of views about how our thoughts make us sick and how by nurturing good thoughts in our mind, faith, love and optimism, we can prevent our body from getting inflicted with sickness. This book seems to be headed in that direction and it would be fascinating to read about how our spirituality leads us towards diabetes.
