Too Much of a Good Thing?

John 15:5–6

Ice cream. Staying up late. Shopping. We know too much of these things can have consequences. But what about the other things you do in excess, like spending too much time with friends, building your beach body, or binge watching Netflix shows. Are those harmful too? The answer . . . yes! Anything—even the best things in life—can become bad things when they compete and win our attention away from Jesus. Today’s video is about denying the good so you can get the best.

John 15:5-6 (NIV)

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;(A) apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.(B)
