Today I’d like to introduce you to Paul the Messenger who is an upcoming Christian artist from England. I really love his music. He uses the experiences of the broken human condition to express our redemption through Christ.

Paul-Claude Kazadi was born in Kipushi in DRC, he moved to the Uk when he was five years old and was always above his years. Music was always something he appreciated but never something he thought he would end up doing. He was supposed to be a doctor, according to his father. Paul has always surprised expectations, never doing exactly what was expected of him, he has always been of his own mind and his own intentions and therefore has always been very controversial. However, he has always had a big heart and love for people, and it’s why he is able to let himself say things that people may not like, in his everyday life and sometimes through his music. Because one’s feelings do not determine the necessity of the truth being spoken.
He discovered his musical inclination accidentally, while his father had appointed his older brother to learn to play the keyboard, his brother was not doing so well while learning the melody. However, something inside Paul let him know what was supposed to be played, but his older brother, (as they do) rebuked him. When his brother left to go buy something at the shops Paul jumped at the keyboard and played the melody. His father being in the other room heard this and ran in expecting David (his older brother) to have finally learned the melody only to find paul sat down on the keyboard chair with his feet swinging. This is how Paul’s musical journey began.
