Machine Gun Kelly’s New Album ‘Hotel Diablo’ Shows His Artistry

Machine Gun Kelly opened up his mind for the fans in his new album “Hotel Diablo“. Not only do we get a glimpse of what’s been going on in his heart, mind, and soul; we get to see the awe-inspiring masterpiece of this under-rated performer.

If you haven’t heard the summer single “I Think I’m Okay,” listen to it below. This song will take you back to the 90s; while mashing punk-rock, rock n roll, hip-hop, and emo all together!

I Think i’m okay

Floor 13 has been trending on Youtube, and has caused quite the controversy. I think people are dismissing the song after the first two bars because they think it’s a diss to Eminem.

“I just spent the winter livin’/After someone tried to send a killshot, missin’ me,”

Personally, I think people are missing the point of the song, and he’s letting his fans know he’s not dead, he’s still here, and he’s still fighting the good fight! This is even clearer after you listen to the rest of the album.

Machine Gun Kelly poured everything he had into “Hotel Diablo,” and it shows! He let fans inside his head, and gave us music from the heart (something we need more of). This album is a masterpiece, from start to finish showcasing a new direction in hip-hop music. I think we’re only seeing a glimpse of what this artist is capable of as he continues to grow and mature.

Below is a playlist of the whole album:

A few of my favorites are Glass House, Floor 13, Death in My Pocket, and Waste Love

I want to mention that although I thought this album was fire, it left me with a heavy heart. If you’re struggling with depression, addictions, and suicidal thoughts consider reading my post about NF’s music. I too suffer from these things, and he is another artist that I really enjoy.
