This is a fun activity to do with the kids this winter.
First build a mountain of snow with a bowl in the middle filled with baking soda. Pack snow around the bowl.
Make a few cups of vinegar (with different colors of food coloring) , and have the kids take turns pouring their colors in the hole. Enjoy the volcano! 🙂 Have spoons for the kids to continue to stir and create the volcano even after the science stops.
Now this looks like something I will definitely try with the grandkids. I’m always looking for new snow fun. This is the first time I’ve seen this one.
