Brightech’s Madison LED Shelf Floor Lamp has an ingenious design to make it one of the most useful lamps on the market. Not only does it provide beautiful warm white light to illuminate your spaces, it also has built in storage and display spaces. It’s the perfect light for bedrooms and living rooms, as it’s strong enough to provide extra focused lighting and a warm cozy ambiance, but isn’t so harsh that it overwhelms the space. And extra storage and display area is always a plus!
It also features 2 USB ports for charging your phone and other mobile devices as well as an outlet for plugging in electronic devices such as tablets, laptops, and more. Even if the bulb isn’t on, as long as the Madison is plugged in, it will charge your portable devices like smartphones and tablets, so you can plug your device in, go to sleep, and have it fully charged by morning!
HIGH QUALITY AND ENERGY EFFICIENT
Brightech’s worked hard to combine fashion and functionality with the Madison, and to add on convenience to boot! In addition to the charging features, they’ve also included a 9.5 watt LED bulb with the purchase so that you don’t have to go searching separately for a bulb that works with the lamp. Though it shines brightly, the bulb uses very little power and will help you save money by lowering your energy bill. And since it’s LED, it has a life expectancy of 15-20 years, so you won’t have to replace it any time soon, and it will help lower bills and costs of replacement bulbs for years to come.
The lamp is also compatible with wall switches, smart outlets, and smart bulbs, so after the initial set up and switch on, you can operate it with ease from the couch, the table, or even as you pass by on your way out.

WHAT TO KNOW
The Madison weighs about 20 pounds. Its total height is 4 feet, 8 inches. The table top rests at 24 inches from the ground, and measures 18 x 18 inches.
The shade measures 10 by 12 inches. It has an A line shape and a spider fitter and can easily be replaced as desired. You just need to make sure that the new shade fits onto the included harp attachment piece.
The lamp is operated easily with the built-in rotary switch near the socket. The power cord is over 5 feet long. The lamp works with 110v – 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets.
ALEXA AND SMART HOMES
With technology always on the move, Brightech’s working to bring the best and brightest to everyone. The Madison works with Alexa and smart home devices, but it needs to be connected to a smart plug to work that way. If you do not already have one, you will need to purchase one separately.
Once you have the Madison set up and the plug connected to your smart home device, you leave the lamp in the on position and let the technology do the rest.
WHAT YOU GET
When you purchase the Madison , you’ll get everything you need for assembly. All necessary hardware, nuts bolts, caps, clips, etc are included, so that you don’t have to go running around for them yourself. Some reviewers do mention preferring to use a screwdriver to finish tightening everything in place. Assembly is easy, just follow the included instructional diagram!
Brightech’s included a 9.5 watt power saving LED bulb in the package for your convenience. It has a natural 3000 Kelvin color temperature with 800 Lumens and the bulb will last for years before it needs to be replaced.
Their bulb is not dimmable, but you can switch it out with a dimmable bulb or smart bulb if desired. The bulb base must be an E26 base and it cannot exceed 100 Watts (the max wattage the lamp can handle), but can be any shape.
My Thoughts
If you are looking for an attractive, multi-function table this one is perfect. It is stable yet lightweight, has charging capabilities, and storage shelves. Also, don’t be deterred because it requires assembly, this literally was the easiest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together. I loved how the shade was so easy to clip to the frame–very clever. The price is right too. I highly recommend this product! It’s the perfect bedside table for reading and charging your phone!
