Award-winning songwriter and kids’ yoga/mindfulness expert Kira Willey is back with her fifth album, a collection of heart-pumping tunes packed with catchy melodies and singalong choruses. Themes of optimism, confidence, compassion and hope will inspire and empower kids to be their strong, capable selves.
REVIEW: I really loved this cd from the first song, “Brand New Day.” It was so upbeat and lifting that I instantly fell in love with Kira’s music. Her voice is very soothing and comforting; and her music is so happy, and encouraging, that I found myself listening to this album quite often.
About Kira Willey
Kira Willey is an award-winning children’s music artist, kids’ yoga expert, and creator of Rockin’ Yoga school programs. Her most recent release is Mindful Moments for Kids, winner of the Parents’ Choice Gold Award. Kira’s three previous releases of yoga albums for kids have all won numerous industry awards and earned national acclaim; her hit songs include “Colors,” which was featured in a worldwide Dell ad campaign.
Kira’s “Music You Can Move To” series with kids’ music superstar Laurie Berkner can be heard daily on SiriusXM Radio’s Kids Place Live, and Kira is also the creator and host of Fireflies Yoga, a yoga-for-kids program airing on PBS TV affiliates nationwide.
Kira leads Professional Development days for teachers, conducts music and yoga workshops, gives keynotes at education conferences, and performs Rockin’ Yoga School Assemblies and Concerts with her band nationwide. She also plays fiddle and sings in a rockin’ bluegrass band, Moonshine & Millet.
