Find Your Inner Child with Goliath Games & Play with Your Kids + Giveaway

A great way to fill your child’s emotional tank and strengthen your relationship with them is with play. Play is the way to a child’s heart — and it’s one of the quickest ways to connect with their hearts. Connection is the foundation that positive parenting rests upon, and every time you take the time to play with your child, you’re being a positive parent!

Did you know that play with your children also wards off problem behavior? It’s true! When your child feels connected to you, and his emotional tank is full, his good behavior will reflect how good he feels inside. This falls under the principles of attachment and pro-active parenting.

One of our favorite things to do together is play games. Goliath has some really fun games that we enjoy – and they perfect for their age!

Here are a few of our favorites!

Fish Food Game

Description: Fish Food is the FINtastic game with the smart fish that knows how to play! If he lands on you, feed him one of your cards. Watch out on the next spin – he may spit the card back to you! Get rid of all of your cards to win. The fish knows who wins and will call out the winner at the end of the game.

Review: My girls really enjoy this game. It’s super simple and can be played with 2-4 people.

Pop The Pig

30546_Pop the Pig_R_PR

Description: Pop the Pig ® is an international preschool classic that is adored by millions of children–it’s the #2 best-selling new kids game of the last five years. Kids spin the spinner, pop a hamburger into the pig’s mouth, then pump his head. The more they pump, the more his belly grows until . . . pop!

Kids love the suspense as they watch his belly grow; the player who makes his belly burst loses the game. Children can quickly reset this pig game with one pump of the pig’s head and experience consistent belly busting game-play each and every time. Pop the Pig provides hours of fun and is completely kid powered (no batteries needed). For added convenience, all pieces can be stored inside the pig. Kids won’t see a pop up pirate, but they will get to pop a pig. For ages 4 and up, 2-4 players. From the makers of Gooey Louie and Jumping Jack.

Review: This is another favorite in our house. The girls love feeding the pig and making him pop!

Greedy Granny

Description: Take the treats without making a peep with Greedy Granny! Granny loves her sweets, but she’s not so great at sharing. As she snoozes, spin the treat wheel to see which sweet to swipe. Be quiet…one wrong move will wake Granny up and send her teeth flying! Be the first player to collect one of each of her treats to win the game! For 2 to 4 players, ages 4 and up.

Review: This is one of the girls favorite. They love balancing the food on Grannies tray and trying not to wake her up.
