The Story of the 1st Christmas Like Never Told Before.  In Theaters November 17.

In Sony Pictures Animation’s The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a lovable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

Nationwide release from Sony Affirm on November 17th, from the producer of Heaven is for Real and Miracles from Heaven.

The Star, which tells the Nativity story from the perspectives of the animals that traveled with Joseph and Mary – sounds like it is going to be a huge hit this Holiday Season.  What a fun and creative way to tell the story of the First Christmas!  The girls and I can’t wait to see it!  It features the voices of A-list celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Clarkson, Zachary Levi and Tracy Morgan.  AND THE SONGS!  The sound track is going to be absolutely amazing!
