Toka Box – July Tiger Box Review

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

We had the joy of trying out the July Toka Box this month!  It was all about tigers!

The Toka Box is a monthly subscription box that has a different theme every month. Each box focuses on literary skills, STEAM skills, school readiness, and life skills.

July 29th was International Tiger Day, so the theme they chose was perfect!!  Did you know that we have lost 97% of tigers in the wild?  International Tiger Day is both to raise awareness for the conservation of these majestic creatures and to celebrate them!  😊

The box came with a book called,  “Tiger on a Tree,” by Anushka Ravishankar and Pulak Biswas.  It also came with a fun craft!

This is such a fun rhyming story about a tiger who wanders from shore to shore, a scary cat that climbs up a tree.  The humans then trap him and wonder what to do with him?  “He’s caught. He’s got. Now what?” they say.  They then make a suprising decision to release him, and the tiger runs off again.

My girls really loved this book, and the fun craft that went along with it!

Tiger Hide and Seek Craft

I loved how everything you needed for this craft was included in the box.

Fun Fact:  Did you know that the tiger is the largest wild cat in the world? Its tail can be 3 feet long or almost as long as the height of a three-year-old kid!
