My daughters love slime — so we have been on a mission learning how to make it!
Here is our favorite recipe so far!
SUPPLIES FOR MAKING SALINE SOLUTION FLUFFY SLIME
- White Glue
- Foaming Shaving Cream
- Food Coloring or Washable Paint
- Saline Solution {for sensitive eyes, store brand and contains both sodium borate
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: Put 2 bottles of white glue into a bowl.
STEP 2: Put about 3 cups of shaving cream into a bowl.
STEP 3: Now add the color! We used washable kid paint because it had glitter in it. You can use regular old food coloring though.
STEP 4: Add 1 tablespoon of the saline solution to the mixture and start stirring. Add more saline solution until the mixture doesn’t stick to the bowl anymore.
STEP 5: Spend a few minutes kneading the slime
STEP 6: Have fun!
Thank you for sharing. This would be so cool to make with the kids.
Looks like fun for kids to make and play with.
As a parent, so fun! As a teacher…not so much, LOL! My students went through a slime faze and we found it everywhere!
Thank you for the recipe!
How many recipes did you try?
We’ve tried a few, we like changing it up. There are tons of different varieties and textures
Thank you for the recipe! I know my granddaughter will love it!
WooOooW Like This ❤
Looks like fun! Something we need to make this summer.
Slime is definitely something that my kids absolutely love, but I am not a fan of the mess. I have found that making and playing with it must be done at the kitchen table or outside! This sounds like a really easy recipe to put together, and so much fun for them to play with. Thank you so much for sharing!
