My review on Balmshot SPF 15 Lip Balm

I thought that I’d take a moment to tell you about a great find that I found.  I recently won Balmshot SPF 15 Lip Balm from a giveaway at dealsamongus.  I am absolutely in love with it!

Winter weather can be just as brutal on your lips and skin as the hot Summer sun.  No one knows that better than Wayne Forrey – the super cool guy that invented BALMSHOT Lip Balm!  After his outdoor lifestyle unfortunately resulted in lip cancer and reconstructive surgery, he needed to use lip balm every day to help protect and keep his lips moisturized.  The lip balm dispensers he found on the market were frustrating, because while carrying the standard lip balms in his pocket, their bases would rotate, forcing lip balm up and out of the cap – creating a mess!  That’s when he took to his garage and hunkered down with his creative skills to invent BALMSHOT Lip Balm.  This new dispenser is not only fun to carry around, because it’s a shotgun shell, it really does the job with moisturizing, and has a better turning mechanism, so you don’t end up with a mess in your pocket.

The lip balm not only has awesome packaging, but it also provides your lips with SPF 15 sun protection and is made with aloe and Vitamin E.

I also love that the company makes a donation to the Mountain States Tumor Institute to assist needy women pay for mammograms, biopsies and breast cancer treatment.  The donations come from the sales of their Pure Pink Camo and Pure Pink Lip Balms.

If you are looking for a nourishing lip balm that will keep your lips moisturized, and protected I recommend picking up some Balmshot.
